Renee Zellweger speaks to Kate Garraway about the latest instalment of the Bridget Jones series and remaining in character for four months.
Kate Garraway and Ed Balls have reminisced on their highlights from presenting on Good Morning Britain , as the ITV show marks its 10 year anniversary.
She even pinched some of the crew to play themselves in the actual film, and in return, invited Kate to join her on set in Bridget's actual bedroom in 2016. Kate said that her own life was like that of the iconic character from the three films and Helen Fielding's 1996 novel. She then added: 'Renée Zellweger always makes me giggle. On the third Bridget Jones movie The Edge of Reason - she came into the gallery to watch how our show is put together and even used some of our studio crew in the filming.
The broadcaster, 56, explained how the Oscar-winning actress, 54, had once worked behind the scenes on the GMB to carry out research for the next Bridget Jones film Ed said: 'We’ve done so many brilliant interviews over the three years I’ve been doing it. But I think, for me, Donny Osmond is right up there. We interviewed him and he would sing the answer to the question.
'It demonstrated what happens when people put their feet on the airline seat in front of you. You might kick someone, which I did!' While attempting to get comfortable he crossed his feet on Susanna's headrest, and accidentally kicked her head in the process. However, on the following show Susanna revealed that Ed had apologised to her again by sending her a note and flowers.
