Kate Garraway found herself being hospitalised during Derek Draper's own health battles as she struggled with her mental health, it has been revealed in her documentary tonight
The latest documentary showing Derek Draper's final few weeks had several heartbreaking revelations about Derek and his wife Kate Garraway and their two children's plight to get the care Derek needed. Kate and her children cared for him in his four-year health battle with the help of multiple carers, at a cost of £16,000 a month.

She also said that she felt it wasn't right to release the new documentary, however, the last thing she wanted to do was to let her supporters down and most of all, Derek, who wanted his story to be told. Kate has previously documented Derek's ongoing health battle in the documentaries, Caring for Derek and Finding Derek, and says she wanted to convey his message to never give up on loved ones.
"Kate was on her way here, and she had pains in her chest and threw up over herself in the car. It was just that moment of 'Christ, even the woman that we thought could go on forever,'" her friend revealed.
