Speaking about their recent family outing, the presenter went on to admit:"It was a special thing to be sitting there with the children holding their hands, doing something normal. But it took everything out of him.Kate added that Derek was"aware that something special is happening", and insisted that he wanted to go ahead with the panto trip despite being tired in the morning.
