Prince William and Kate Middleton have long been known for their love of privacy, and when they moved to their current home in Windsor, they made a very deliberate decision to leave something behind
The Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton , currently reside in Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Estate. By Royal standards, their four-bedroom home is quite modest.
Upon their move to their new Windsor abode, it was widely reported that the couple would not have room for a live-in nanny. They chose to downsize to the Grade II listed property to offer more privacy and normality for their three children - George, Charlotte, and Louis - away from the prying eyes in London.
Katie Nicholl shared her insights, saying: "The truth is he's got a lot of worries," but added, "but knowing what I know about his personality, he's practical, he's pragmatic, he's optimistic, just like his father. He is a real optimist in life and he also has his grandmother's ability to compartmentalise and that's how he copes with life", reports the Mirror.
"But I think what's very important for me about that detail is just remembering, you know I think that we have this sense of them as having fabulous lifestyles and all the people in the kitchen, and while the huge staff is the case in the castles, for the most part they have lived without a lot of people around them, partially because they do want to protect their privacy."
