The former Operation Transformation presenter opened up about taking to the stage in the famous dome for the second time - and she explained how she referenced the 'Lovely girls' comments last year
Kathryn Thomas has defended the Rose of Tralee as she prepares to present the show for the second year.
"I said to Dáithí that I was going to put it out there. I asked three or four of the girls, ‘Why are you entering the Rose of Tralee in 2024 when this is what people are saying?’ "They feel that their friendship circle has moved on and this is a way to connect and expand your social circle and meet new people. It is also a way to connect into the future."
She said: "We were able to work so well together last year, and that was really important for me coming on board for the first time. Dáithí had done more than a decade of building incredible rapports and putting his own stamp on the show.
