The Holmes women have stylish genetics.
Yesterday afternoon, Katie Holmes brought her mother, Kathleen Stothers-Holmes, and daughter, Suri Cruise, together for lunch in New York City. Katie opted for a layered look. She wore a lemon sorbet-coloured knit cashmere midi dress from Lisa Yang, and a black jacket with contrast stitching tied around her waist. Adding a piece from her forthcoming collaboration with APC, she donned strappy black wedge sandals, which she wore with high black socks.
Suri, meanwhile, wore an on-trend boho look. She chose a tiered white halter dress, which she styled with a pair of heeled brown leather boots, and a chunky silver bracelet. Kathleen, for her part, wore a white knit crewneck sweater with grey trousers, black ballet flats with criss-crossing straps, and silver bangles. The Holmes women seem to share a lot of the same influences: a love of neutrals, pared-back style, and statement jewellery in particular.
