Katja Mia felt an outpouring of love when she publicly spoke about her hypothyroidism diagnosis on social media.

We’re all just having these conversations like you would with your friends.
“Hundreds and hundreds of women got in touch to say they got the same diagnosis as me and have had the same struggles with things like weight fluctuation and disordered eating from teenage years,” she explained. “I have been building my platform on social media slowly but surely. There was never a huge spike or overnight success for me, so I can compartmentalise it.
