She took to X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: "FOOTBALL IS COMING HOME," complete with a Union Jack flag emoji. Fans and fellow social media users were divided by the show of support from the American pop star. Someone else slammed Katy's use of the Union Jack flag and not the St. George's Cross flag when they penned: "Literally married two English people and still manages to put the wrong flag up."
