There was no fairytale finish for Meath’s Keane Barry at tonight’s world championship second round in Alexandra Palace.
Barry had his openings, 22 of them in fact at double, but he collected just two legs across the match, as Price won 3-0.Price said: “A win is a win. I wanted to just get a win and get home to enjoy Christmas. Now the tournament starts after Christmas. It took Barry time to find his groove, Price racing to the first leg, averaging 100, then taking his chance to close out the leg when it came.
