Keary ruled out of State of Origin game one after suffering concussion l smhsport

"The No. 6 jersey was Luke's to lose, but he's definitely out of game one,'' Fittler said. "Speaking with Trent Robinson this morning, Luke needs to now do a whole heap of tests.

It was Keary's second heavy concussion in the space of five weeks after being forced to cut short his night in the Good Friday clash against Melbourne.Herald "For the first time in my career I was a bit tentative at the start, just coming off that and the fact I've had a few the last 12 months," Keary said on his return from the head knock against the Storm. "Once I was into it I was fine. But there were nerves there. I don't normally get nervous. I watched the [Storm hit] a few times but don't remember it. I did all the tests and ticked off everything and I was fine. But you don't want too many.

"He's average," Robinson said. "I was talking to him in there [the sheds], so it's not 'bad bad', he can move his neck alright and he's talking fine and all of that, but he's got the concussion.
