Keem Bay on Achill Island named one of the best beaches in the world.
An Irish beach has been named as one of the 50 best beaches in the world.
"The sun might not always be shining, but when it does, it's world-class - and yes, it’s beautiful even on a rainy day".The annual rankings use aggregated stores from previous media results, official Blue Flag locations and contributions from an editorial team.Other top beach spots include locations such as Curaçao, Panama, Vanuatu and Indonesia.
The top spot goes to White Beach near Port Barton in the Philippines, which the websites describes as"a pristine gem.""Think hammocks, powdery white sand, kayaks to rent, and of course, crystal-clear water - all with a backdrop of lush forests."
