Kerry Katona recalls the terrifying moment her ex-husband George Kay threatened to rape and "slash up" her mum during their relationship.
Kerry and George met as teenagers when they were students at Padgate High School in Warrington and were childhood sweethearts. They were reunited in their early 30s and married in 2014, just months after the birth of their daughter Dylan-Jorge. The ex-singer said it was a "fantasy" for women to want a "bad boy" as they imagined they would be able to change them but she was says knowing George's past made her "want him more".
In her new memoir, Kerry Katona : Whole Again, the former singer went on to explain when she was a victim of George's abuse, she would often apologise.
