There are seven races at Listowel on Kerry National day
It's Kerry National day at Listowel , with the biggest race of the Harvest Festival taking place this afternoon at the Co Kerry venue.
A cracking field has been assembled for the three-mile contest, which includes dual Stayers' Hurdle winner Flooring Porter, 2023 Brown Advisory Novices' Chase victor The Real Whacker, last year's winner Desertmore House and the classy Zanahiyr. However, Perceval Legallois is the current favourite for trainer Gavin Cromwell and owner JP McManus, with Mark Walsh booked to ride. The seven-year-old was in contention when falling at the last in a handicap chase at the Dublin Racing Festival and has since finished runner-up at the Punchestown Festival before coming eighth in the Galway Plate.
