Seabody, the luxury Kerry-based wellness and beauty brand co-founded by gene and cellular therapeutics doctor Helen McMahon has been awarded the Positive Luxury Butterfly Mark – the only Irish brand to now hold this certification.
Launched in 2021, Seabody’s range of skincare and supplements is based on phycology, or seaweed science and uses organically certified, sustainably cultivated and hand-harvested seaweeds grown along the Wild Atlantic Way from which it extracts 60 bioactive ingredients and macronutrients using zero-waste clean technologies to create its range of targeted skincare products and supplements that benefit skin, bone, muscle and immunity.
“As one of the first brands to be accepted into the inaugural Positive Luxury Accelerator program, we're thrilled to be one of the first to complete it and the only Irish brand to now hold this certification,” says Dr Helen McMahon. “We're honoured to join the ranks of prestigious brands like Tom Ford Beauty, 111Skin, and Anya Hindmarch.
In 2022, Seabody’s Energy supplements were awarded Best Supplement in the Irish Tatler Wellness & Spa Awards.
