Jasmin Griffin, a multimedia journalist hailing from County Kerry, has been living with OCD. As Jasmin reflects on her personal journey, she opens up about her experience.

Jasmin continued "Time passed, and the day came where she was brought to the vet to get her leg amputation but she was put down as the cancer had spread." Continuing, she explained to RSVP Live "Looking back now, when I was young, I never really realised why I thought this way. Everything was drama in my head, it was going to turn out terrible. Somebody was going to get injured. You're 13 and you're thinking, if I don't spin around on my right foot before I sit down, my whole family is going to die. Or have a car accident."

Jasmin's OCD can consist of different compulsions including, "Two that are most popular are I never leave my room on my left foot. And never touch inanimate objects with my left side, or my left anything without then rectifying it with anything on my right. If I touch a door handle with my left foot, and I'm walking away, I might just give it a tap with my right foot."
