Kettering's Sean Dyche has gone from "eating worms" to the Everton manager's job. The Northamptonshire native has returned to coaching after being appointed to save the Toffees from relegation.

After joining Forest in 1987, Dyche senior broke his leg early in his career which left him with a permanent bend in the limb. His playing career saw him reach the FA Cup semi-finals with lowly Chesterfield in 1997, scoring a penalty against Middlesbrough in the process. It also secured their best finish to a top-flight season since a sixth-placed finish back in 1974. Following qualification for Europe, The Princess Royal pub in Burnley was renamed "The Royal Dyche" in honour of Dyche.
