Exclusive - The two males remained in garda custody this evening following their arrests on Tuesday morning by gardai attached to the Divisional Drug Unit.

A key lieutenant of one of the main feuding gangs in Drogheda was one of the two males arrested in a dawn raid in the Co Louth town on Tuesday, we can reveal.

The second male, also in his 20s, is also a close associate of the same feuding gang in the town which has been at war with associates of paralysed mob boss Owen Maguire for several years. The two males remained in garda custody this evening following their arrests on Tuesday morning by gardai attached to the Divisional Drug Unit.
