Peak audiences for Patrick Kielty's Late Late Show debut this weekend failed to reach the numbers of former host Ryan Tubridy.

Mr Kielty was praised for his comedic monologue, and many praised the recorded introduction by former host Gay Byrne.Guests on the first episode of the rebootedincluded former Irish President Mary McAleese, comedian Tommy Tiernan and The Two Johnnies.
