Virgin Media Television has appointed broadcaster Kieran Cuddihy as the new host of its flagship current affairs programme, 'The Tonight Show'. Cuddihy, who presents Newstalk's 'The Hard Shoulder', will take over from Claire Brock and Ciara Doherty starting March 4th.

The Tonight Show has been on air for almost 20 years. Most recently it was hosted by Claire Brock and Ciara Doherty, who announced their departure back in November.
I’m really excited to have the opportunity to present such an important show," Kieran said. "When you look at the presenters that have gone before me, you realise what an institution the show has become over the years.
