Evil killer Joe O'Reilly spent a day outside prison for the first time since his conviction, we can reveal. He became unwell in prison last January and was taken to Tullamore Hospital for tests accompanied by a team of prison officers.
A prison source said: "Joe got ill and was taken from the Midlands Prison in Portlaoise where he is serving his sentence to the hospital, half an hour away, in Tullamore. He originally served his sentence in Wheatfield Prison but was then moved to the Midlands in recent years after falling out with other inmates. O'Reilly has found God behind bars and has become a Jehovah Witness. He is regularly seen reading his bible.
