Kim Woodburn hopes Holly Willoughby 'has sense to leave' This Morning after Phil quits
Kim Woodburn has launched a scathing attack on Holly Willoughby, saying that she hopes she follows in Phillip Schofield's footsteps after he announced he was quitting This Morning.
Speaking shortly after Phillip's sensational announcement, Kim said: "I think he realises his position is untenable. I think he has used common sense and he is gone." Continuing to discuss Holly, Kim added: "She cannot continue. You think of Phil, you think of Holly. All these years she's worked with him. She's heard him be rude in front of people. She's seen him on the sofa upsetting people. She’s never once pulled him up on it. She should’ve told him to stop.
"Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind. He continued: "I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me – especially This Morning’s amazing viewers – and I’ll see you all for the Soap Awards next month."
