Lucy Halpin has been identified locally as the 18 year old who died after emergency services were called to reports of a medical incident at Tonnau Festival on Anglesey in the early hours of 11 July.
The festival was cancelled in the wake of Lucy's death, with North Wales Police confirming they were treating her passing as unexpected. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death remain ongoing. Staff at a pub where Lucy worked said they were "broken" by the loss of the "wonderful" young woman, just weeks after she celebrated her 18th birthday.
A fundraising appeal has since been launched by the teenager's friends, who took the opportunity to share their cherished memories of her, reports Wales Online. They wrote: "Anyone who knew Lucy would know she was kind, caring and a good friend. Everyone around her knew how bright and funny she was. She lit up every room she walked into and put a smile on everyone's face without fail.

"She will be carried in all our lives with love and will be deeply missed," they said. The Breeze Hill Bar, Eatery and Hotel on Anglesey announced it "has been a very sad week" following the loss of a "treasured" colleague. In their tribute, they described her as "caring, funny, clever and always smiling".
The pub's full statement said: "It has been a very sad week at The Breeze Hill. A broken pub full of broken hearts.
"Our wonderful Lucy was taken away from us last Friday, just a few weeks following her 18th Birthday. "Lucy wasn't just staff, Lucy was a member of our extended family and was treasured by us, our customers and her colleagues, many of whom became her close friends. Lucy was caring, funny, clever and always smiling. Lucy was exceptionally good at looking after our customers, many of whom will miss her lots.
"Our thoughts are very much with Lucy's family and friends. Lots of her closest friends have visited The Breeze this last week and their pain and sorrow is clear to see. Lucy was like a glue between them, a magical bond.
"Her friends have launched a GoFundMe page to raise funds for Lucy's family at this exceptionally difficult time and, in their own words, 'any donations will go directly to Lucy's family so we can give her the best send-off she deserves️. ' So, we are calling on you all to help smash through the target total and yes, let's help to give Lucy the send-off she deserves. "Cash donations can also be left with us at The Breeze Hill.

A North Wales Police spokesman previously stated: "We can confirm that a woman has sadly died at a festival in Llanfaethlu, Anglesey. Emergency Services attended Tonnau festival at Carreglwyd Estate at around 1.45am on July 11 following reports of a medical emergency.
"Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, sadly, the 18-year-old woman later died in hospital. The death is being treated as unexpected whilst investigations are ongoing and the coroner has been informed.
" Detective Inspector Iolo Edwards added: "Our thoughts remain with the woman's family and loved ones at this difficult time. "We urge members of the public not to speculate on the circumstances of the death, and anybody with information that could assist our enquiries should contact us via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference O110259. "Tonnau Festival takes place at Carreglwyd Estate in Llanfaethlu on Anglesey.
The event was scheduled to run from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12, with a line-up featuring Jamz Supernova, Mr Scruff, Pat Kalla and Le Super La Perla, Madalitso Band, Lamisi and K.O. G. Spread across seven stages, the festival welcomes 2,000 attendees and showcases international bands and DJs, alongside culture, food and drink.
In an official statement, the organisers said: "Everyone at Tonnau Festival is deeply saddened to confirm that a festival attendee tragically passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning following a severe medical emergency.
"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the attendee's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. "From the moment the attendee became unwell, our on-site welfare teams, security, and emergency medical staff responded immediately. Paramedics and welfare personnel did everything they could to provide emergency care, but unfortunately they later died in hospital.
"The safety and well-being of our audience is always our highest priority. Following this tragedy, and to allow emergency services and local authorities to conduct their necessary work, we made the decision to close the remainder of the festival and have asked people to vacate the site when it is safe for them to do so. We are cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.
"We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all our attendees, staff and volunteers during this incredibly difficult situation. Out of respect for the family's privacy, we will be making no further comment at this time.
