King Charles' cancer treatment will continue into the New Year - but his treatment has been moving in a "positive direction".Now, sources say there is a "sense" of optimism as Charles, who is 76, has been keeping busy with public engagements in the lead-up to Christmas.

However, he has never disclosed which form of cancer he is being treated for, to not take away from the significance of other types of the disease.
"So we've got immunotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery, hormone therapy. There are all sorts of different treatment modalities. And so it's not surprising at all."
