Jurgen Klopp confirms Liverpool changes for Everton FA Cup tie with pair in contention
Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool will have "fresh legs" for their FA Cup third round tie against Everton on Sunday amid mounting injury issues.
Midfielder Keita, who has a suspected groin problem, joins a lengthening Reds injury list that includes defenders Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip and midfielders Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Youngsters Curtis Jones, Neco Williams and Harvey Elliott were also substitutes on Thursday night, with Elliott making a late appearance for his Premier League debut.
“Takumi can come in and make it 13 again. Nat Phillips, if you want to count him at 22 years old even though he has no Premier League experience, makes him for at least one or two weeks 14. That's it.”
