Jurgen Klopp sent a clear message to Liverpool supporters to get behind his successor Arne Slot as he said goodbye to Anfield on Sunday, even singing the Dutchman's name.
Dutch boss Slot will succeed Klopp in the Liverpool hotseat in the coming weeks, and when he addressed supporters on the pitch after the game Klopp sang the Feyenoord boss' name as he pleaded with fans to support the 45-year-old. "It doesn't feel like an end. It just feels like a start. Today I saw a football team play full of talent, youth, creativity, desire, greed. That's one part of development, that's what you need obviously.
"Obviously I saw a lot of people crying and I will tonight too because I will miss people but change is good. Everything will be fine because the basics are 100% there."
