RJ Barrett isn’t letting his shooting struggles hurt his confidence. He hoisted up 22 shots in the Knicks’ 132-129 overtime loss to the Trail Blazers.
“I’m fine,” he said. “Don’t worry about me. I’m fine.”
Coach Tom Thibodeau felt Barrett was looking for contact on some of his drives in the first half, and not aggressively attacking the rim enough. For the third straight game, Thibodeau played all three centers. Robinson started while Jericho Sims and Isaiah Hartenstein both received rotational minutes off the bench. Hartenstein logged 17 minutes and Sims 13.
