The film will be based on the biography 'Sontag: Her Life and Work' by Ben Moser, and will be written for the screen by Johnson and Lisa Kron.Sontag was an influential writer, philosopher, and political activist who would put complex ideas about human rights and social justice into poignant essays. Her non fiction work was often met with controversy and generally highlighted a myriad of social issues.
