A talented young Lanarkshire musician hit the high notes as he recorded an impressive double triumph at the Royal National Mod for a second successive year.

Forth Primary pupil Alistair first began playing the accordion five years ago, and said he was “so shocked and surprised but really excited” to triumph once again this year.
