According to Lanarkshire Police Division, there is no risk to the wider public. The exact time officers were called to the scene, the nature of the incident and reports of injuries have not been disclosed by police.The division released a statement at around 10.30am. It read: "Stoneymeadow Road is currently closed between Blantyre and East Kilbride due to a police incident.
