Nikki Forbes began her weight loss journey weighing 21st 8lb after finding a picture her daughter had taken of her on her phone.

A solitary photograph taken by her daughter, prompted a Lanarkshire woman to turn her life around and lose over nine stone in weight.

Mum-of-four Nikki, from Newmains, said: “My wee girl took a picture of me while we were in a caravan. I was looking through my phone and I just came to the realisation ‘is that really me?’“I knew I had to lose some weight to be able to look after him as well as be the fun mum for my other kids. “If I wanted another packet of crisps or a bar of chocolate I would just have it and didn’t think anymore about it.”
