Lando Norris finished fourth at the Monaco Grand Prix but felt he was denied a spot on the podium by an 'unfair' decision made by race control which benefitted Carlos Sainz
Lando Norris complained about the "unfair" result of the Monaco Grand Prix after rival Carlos Sainz was handed a reprieve by race control.
The 29-year-old Ferrari star had picked up a puncture at the first corner after contact with Piastri. He made it up the hill to Casino Square but, while everyone else took the corner, he went straight on and screeched to a halt due to his flat tyre. For the restart, the FIA decided that they had to use the order that the cars had been in at the second safety car line on track. That was because not all cars had completed the first sector of the track when the order to stop the race was given.
After the race, the Briton said: "I don't think it's the most fair thing, but I'm sure there's been moments in the past where maybe I've been fortunate from it and they could have they fixed the car a little bit or something like that.
