I went over Likely in detail below. He’s my favorite rest of season, but last on the list to start today. Engram’s still posting big-time 75 percent snap shares, which is great for a TE, but three targets on his last 49 routes spanning two weeks isn’t going to cut it. Engram isn’t startable at this junction; Trevor Lawrence is just more comfortable throwing to his WRs.
Otton is a sharp grab with Cam Brate out. Good stream in TE premium for sure. He basically played every snap with Brate lost to a concussion and commanded five targets on 26 routes run. The Bucs are projecting to score, and the Falcons defense is bottom five in points allowed to opposing TEs. Desperate times can call for desperate measures.
That said, in 2022, I’m looking to face the Lions whenever possible. Hunter Henry is going to play every down for New England with Jonnu Smith out. This Detroit D has been cartoonishly bad, allowing over 35 points and 444 total yards a game through the first month. Carson Wentz, Kirk Cousins, and Geno Smith have gone 917 yards, seven touchdowns, one interception combined against them in the last three weeks.
