Three audience members competed to win a trip to Paris this summer to watch the Olympics as the Late Late Show revived classic show Know Your Sport - but they had one big complaint
Late Late Show viewers are all demanding the return of a classic RTE show after a segment on tonight's show.
The former host of the popular show, George Hamilton, joined presenter Patrick Kielty in studio for the segment.Seeing it play out made viewers nostalgic as they requested the programme be revived.Another wrote: "Wouldn’t mind know your sport comeback 8.30 Sunday nights."A fourth wrote: "Bring back Know Your Sport.""Nice to see George Hamilton. I always liked his personality and commentary," wrote one viewer.
In 2009 an appeal to re-introduce the show to RTÉ's schedule gathered support on networking website, Facebook - but it was unsuccessful. Despite audience member Claire winning most of the rounds, Thomas won at the end due to getting the final "killer question" correct."Wow wow wow. Claire has been robbed. This is worse than the Thierry Henry Handball. She won 2 of the 3 rounds. Robbed," another said.
