Former TOWIE star Lauren Pope has the perfect trick to help you cheat an instant fringe without cutting your hair
Former TOWIE star Lauren Pope often shares makeup and hair hacks over on her Instagram page, but her latest tutorial is certainly one many of us can benefit from watching this party season.
“How to - Create a faux fringe using your own hair!!!” Lauren introduces the video, flagging it as an ad for her hair extension brand Hair Rehab London. Lauren’s step-by-step guide is very easy to follow. She simply ties her hair up then uses two sections of that hair to create the fringe, sliding in grips to secure it in place over her forehead. She finishes by adding a faux hair bun from her Hair Rehab range to make the updo look like it has more thickness.
Lauren also has a clever trick to ensure the new fringe she created blends perfectly in with her base colour – root concealer. She applies a dark blonde shade of the powder to give the illusion of a fake root on the mid-lengths of her fringe.
