We already know that Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers will clash at the Aviva Stadium on the opening weekend of the season, with the Dublin rivals facing each other on Sunday, 16 February 2025 at 2pm. Bohs have forgone home advantage 'for the exciting opportunity to showcase one of the biggest games in Irish football to an even larger audience'. The 2024 League of Ireland Premier Division provided plenty of drama and saw a number of clubs in with a chance of lifting the trophy with just weeks to go.
