The owners' decision comes as controversy continues to surround the World Cup being hosted in Qatar - where homosexuality is illegal and same-sex relationships can be punishable by the death sentence.Qatar World Cup ambassador Khalid Salman sparked controversy when it emerged he had referred to homosexuality as "damage in the mind".
"We are committed to creating a venue for all communities, where everyone is welcome. As previously planned we'll be fundraising throughout the duration of the World Cup for Yorkshire Mesmac."
