A hospital boss has issued an update following a bomb scare at Leeds' St James's Hospital
A senior member of St James's Hospital has issued an update on the ongoing situation at Gledhow Wing.
The Gledhow Wing houses the majority of the hospital's maternity services, including the delivery suite. A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. as they work to manage the situation with the emergency services. All visiting has been suspended in the Gledhow Wing but patients are asked to attend appointments as normal.
"Our wonderful staff are looking after those patients who have been moved to ensure that all of their needs are met and they are being kept totally safe.
