Leeds United will be hoping to kickstart their bid to earn a swift return to the Premier League when they return to action at Millwall. Daniel Farke's side have won just one of their opening five Championship fixtures, while also exiting the Carabao Cup following a penalty shootout defeat at Salford City.
Patrick Bamford United's number nine has been ruled out not only for the trip to Millwall, but the subsequent matches against Hull City and Watford. Farke hopes Bamford will be back in team training 'quite soon', citing the end of next week as a potential return date.Sam Byram The full-back who returned to Elland Road this summer is one of several players to miss recent weeks. Farke confirmed Byram has been back in training this week, and is now available for selection.
Stuart Dallas The Northern Ireland international recently dismissed suggestions his ongoing injury nightmare has led him to consider retirement. Farke confirms Dallas is 'improving', but remains on the long-term absentee list. Djed Spence The loan signing from Tottenham made his debut from the bench in the home draw to Sheffield Wednesday, but the club are waiting for an assessment following a knock to his knee. Farke labelled Spence a 'major doubt' to face Millwall, although the full-back could be in contention for the subsequent fixtures against Hull City and Watford.
