Archie Gray made his debut for England's under-21 in Azerbaijan on Friday and took just five minutes to score after coming on as a late substitute
Five minutes is all it took for Leeds United’s Archie Gray to make his impact and score on debut for England’s under-21s in Azerbaijan today. The 18-year-old’s strike, England’s fifth in a 5-1 win in Baku, makes him the fourth youngest goal scorer in Three Lions under-21 history.
Within five minutes of jogging onto the field, he was having the home goalkeeper pick the ball out of the back of his net. Gray had begun the move that led to the 88th-minute goal as well.
