French forward Rutter was delighted to get on the scoresheet in an important win for Daniel Farke's side at Millwall
Leeds United forward Georginio Rutter says his partnership with Joel Piroe can get even better after a scintillating show against Millwall. The Whites frontmen were both on target in the 3-0 win at the New Den, new siging Piroe bagging a brace and Rutter puting the icing on the cake as Daniel Farke's men claimed a big three points.
"Yeah, we speak every day," he said. "Last game against Sheffield Wednesday we were not close, but today was better. I know for the future it can be better - now it's really good but I know it can be even better. It's a busy week but we will have good recovery so we are prepared for this.
"It's a good day for the team, three points gives us more confidence and we are happy," added. "When you come here it's difficult to create goals and not to concede - so a 3-0 win is a good, good performance from the team.
