She says the rats ate the poison put down to kill them

A group of 'extremely strong rats' that have taken up residence in a "creepy attic" dragged steel chains along the floor and terrorised a woman and her flatmate in Woodhouse.

Livi says, after realising that there was more the strange sounds, she contacted her landlords who were very helpful and called in experts. She said: "To be fair I actually had good landlords so they did call in some people to take a look. The exterminators didn't seem to believe me, but sure enough when they went up into the attic they saw a ton of rat droppings so decided to set up some poison.

Livi says despite gobbling up so much poison, the rats just didn't die, and the noises got worse until they all just gave up. But, the noises drove her crazy. "Literally looked like some kind of torture room. Like, there was nothing in there apart from a bunch of chains wrapped around the supports."
