Lego Lake District model to go on display in Windermere

Jon Tordoff, from Derbyshire, has used more than 200,000 Lego bricks to build the scale model.

Jon Tordoff had never seen the whole model together before it went on display at Belper libraryThe structure, which measures more than 100 sq ft , includes replicas of Buttermere, Borrowdale and Derwent Water.

"I hope it will inspire people to get out on the fells this summer and experience the Lake District."
