Leinster need to do a 'Munster' in Pretoria semi-final against Bulls
Leinster will travel to face Bulls in Pretoria in the semi-final of the URC - possibly the tournament's toughest away trip. The tasks-in-hand include coping at altitude, playing against a club that finished one place above them in the league proper, and a team that have won nine of their 10 home games this season.
"We played the Bulls in Round 13 when they had a fully loaded group," he said. "We were coming off the back of the Six Nations and we had a mix of some guys coming back from the Six Nations, we had some guys who played the previous week against Zebre. This block of games, that Zebre was one and Bulls were two and we are now in 13 now."
Continues Cullen. "I know we haven't won the last three finals but that was a thing of dreams to play in three finals in a row in the Champions Cup, the old European Cup. "Think back to when professionalism started and you're watching Super Rugby, it was like they were up here and we had a sort of inferiority complex or I don't know what. You couldn't say that now."
"Maybe we will land in Saturday morning so the altitude has no effect. We might do that option - travel Friday and Saturday."
