The RDS, now known as the Laya Arena, has completed a major redevelopment and is set to welcome Leinster Rugby back for the start of the 2024/2025 season. The project focused on improving spectator comfort and generating revenue through increased capacity and better facilities.
After two years of absence, Leinster Rugby is finally returning home to the RDS, which has been rebranded as the Laya Arena. The redeveloped stadium, which cost €52 million, has undergone significant upgrades including new seating, improved hospitality facilities, and a spacious Grand Stand.
While the first league game against Cardiff is scheduled for October, the team will be gradually re-acclimating to the venue, with some matches expected to remain at the Aviva Stadium due to scheduling and capacity considerations
