Leinster will play their Champions Cup semi-final at Croke Park if they defeat La Rochelle in the last eight clash. The province is accustomed to playing big knock-out games at the Aviva Stadium, but due to scheduling conflicts, they have secured the iconic Jones's Road venue for the semi-final.
Leinster will play their Champions Cup semi-final at Croke Park if they beat La Rochelle in Saturday's last eight collision. But, if they overcome Ronan O'Gara's back to back champions there on Saturday, then Leo Cullen's side will be heading to Dublin's northside in the first weekend in May to play at the 82,300 venue for a place in the final. Leinster are also set to play their knockout URC fixtures at Croke Park .
Champions Cup organisers EPCR have confirmed the semi-final venues depending on the winners of the last eight ties this weekend. And, with the Aviva Stadium unable to host a game because of preparations for the Europa League final that will be played there, an agreement has been reached with the GAA to hold the semi-final at the iconic Jones's Road venue if required. It is 14 years since a rugby match was last played at Croke Park - in the 2010 Six Nations. The one previous occasion that a European club game was held there was a year earlier, when Leinster beat Munster in an historic Heineken Cup semi-final meeting.
