Leo Varadkar approval rating as Taoiseach drops to its lowest level, new poll reveals
Less than half of the country is now satisfied with Leo Varadkar's abilities as leader of the country, according to a new poll run byWhile he still remains the most popular of all of the party leaders, he has still dropped to the lowest satisfaction rating since becoming Taoiseach, dropping from his previous level of 60% , to the latest poll results of just 43%.
On top of that, Fine Gael have dropped to just 30% of potential voters who would support the party , with the other parties results as follows: Fianna Fáil - 24% ; Sinn Féin - 21% ; Labour - 6% ; Independents/others - 19% . Meanwhile, as far as the individual party leaders go: Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin's approval rating is 35% , Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald's is 33% , while Labour Party leader Brendan Howlin's rating is 19% .
