Leo Varadkar backing reform of Ireland's 'archaic' drink laws - which could see longer pub opening hours
Speaking to reporters at the annual Christmas interview, he said that cities and towns should have more lax laws.
“And that doesn't lead to public order offences, or increased levels of public order offenses, it can actually be better in terms of public transport because instead of everyone rushing out on the streets looking for a taxi at the same time, that's spread over a longer period of time.Mr Varadkar said that Minister for Culture, Josepha Madigan is already looking into reforms in this area.
