The KPMG Women's Irish Open, held every summer, brings together top female golfers for a week of elite competition. The event is a full day out for families, with entertainment on the main stage and a picnic area.
This year, Irish Women in Harmony will perform with Una Healy in the Family Village on August 30. A record-breaking nine Irish professionals will compete alongside seven amateur players for the €450,000 prize fund. Leona Maguire, Ireland's only LPGA Tour winner, will participate in the tournament. She credits her father and Golf Ireland for introducing her to golf at a young age and supporting her early career.
Leona has had a successful golf career, winning on the LPGA Tour and representing Europe and Ireland in international competitions, including the Solheim Cup. She is also a proud BMW Friend of the Brand, citing the company's values of performance, attention to detail, and comfort as aligning with her own career goals. Leona has had the opportunity to drive various BMW models, particularly enjoying the electric iX, which she finds comfortable, spacious, and innovative in its technology.
She has transitioned to electric cars without difficulty, finding them smooth, quiet, and easy to charge. Leona's partnership with BMW is a natural fit, allowing her to experience the brand's products and events while working with the team throughout the year
