Proposed ban on wild-cow milking threatens rodeosI live in Alameda County District 4, “represented” by Supervisor Miley. I requested a meeting to discuss the Humane Rodeo Ordinance, on the agenda for Sept. 20.
There are three MACs. Boards are appointed by the supervisor in their district. Two boards were appointed solely by Miley. The third is shared by Miley and Supervisor David Brown. Miley will bow to the desires of his appointed MAC members.The supervisors of Alameda County enjoy a carte blanche approach to legislating. Voters in Alameda County need to be aware of the lack of regard for the people who put these supervisors in office.

Hunger is the result of monopoly and bureaucracy.Must Americans suffer to bring inflation down?He begins by writing “estimates based on preliminary data — suggest that inflation will remain low in August.” He must be the only economist in the country who believes 8.5% inflation is low.
Andrus falsely declares separation of church and state “is actually the ideal of Marxism, not American democracy,” ignoring the First Amendment’s clause, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”
