In the present, some people have no idea why it is important to stop Vladimir Putin.Many Republicans are pointing the finger at ex-President Donald Trump for what I’ll call the Big Red Fizzle.
First, McConnell decided not to convict Trump after he was impeached for the Jan. 6 attempt to overthrow the election. Results of the election go against the inevitability of change in rural Texas, as in “No Country for Old Men” by author Cormac McCarthy. Texas still remains crimson red, still looking backward— still a country where boot-kicking old men vote!Nationally, the Democrats didn’t do OK in the midterm election. Donald Trump and his ways did poorly.
